Color Throwdown & Verve Stamps

Hi there.....I know it is a bit late for my normal posts, but I spent the day making cards (big surprise) and I couldn't wait to post one of the creations I made.

I was color inspired by non other than Color Throwdown and layout inspired by Verve! Verve is having a great sketch challenge this week. You can read all about it HERE. Scroll down a bit to see Sketch #2.

I made this Birthday card with one of my son's friends in mind. She is having a birthday next week. I got to use my Copics again and Liquid Pearls, that makes today a good day!!
Here is the color challenge...
The sketch....

Here are the supplies that I used on my card:
Cardstock: Early Espresso, Perfect Plum, Very Vanilla (Stampin' Up); Vintage Cream (PTI)
Stamps: Birthday Bash (Verve Stamps), Just Rite Stamps (font on cake)
Ink: Copics (Darn it, I threw them all back in the bin and didn't write down which colors I used); Memento Tuxedo Black, Perfect Plum, Early Espresso ( Stampin' Up)
Extras: Ribbon (Stampin' Up); Liquid Pearls Lavender (Ranger), Cinnamon Stickles (Ranger)
Thats it for me today!! I hope you like my card.
Have a great evening and I will see you tomorrow!!!
