Christmas In August...Dreamweaver Stencils and Woodware UK

Welcome to the annual Dreamweaver and Woodware Christmas in August extravaganza week! Monday through Saturday we will be knocking your Christmas stockings off with fun and inspirational ideas for the upcoming holidays. All that you need to do is hop back and forth across the "pond" on each day, oohing and aaahhhing as you go, and leaving us plenty of holiday love. In return, you'll be entered to randomly win one prize package for a UK commenter, and a second prize package for a US commenter, featuring products distributed in the UK by Woodware...including Dreamweaver and Stampendous!

Prize includes four stencils, one die, and two stamps, selection may vary.

Dreamweaver Stencils and Stampendous Stamps are a team made in crafty Heaven.   I was lucky enough to be given this darling stamp from Woodware UK by Stampendous, who has welcome House Mouse Designs to the Stampendous family.  The stamp is called Candy Joy.  I knew right away which stencil to pair it with!!  You can  view the entire collection of House Mouse designs here.

The background was simply created using  a re-release from Dreamweaver Stencils, Delicate Frame.  I paste embossed using Dreamweaver Silver Metallic Embossing Paste.    The metallic pastes, once dried offer a beautiful metallic shine that I love.  It really adds interest to your projects.

Candy Joy was colored using Copic Markers (see below for the list of markers used).

Now's the time for you to leave a comment and move on to the next designer for today, Louise Healy.

If your just joining the hop from my blog, you can start at the beginning from the list below!

Thank you for following Dreamweaver Stencils and Woodware UK's Christmas In August Blog Hop and be sure to leave your comments for your chance to win the fabulous prize.

See you tomorrow for a Hop featuring all the designers from all week long.

The entire month of Janaury, Stampendous and I are celebrating KIDDO's!!!  What a happy day early last year when Stampendous introduced the kiddo line!!!  If you haven't take a look at all the cuteness...HERE YOU GO, follow this link.

I used the Cling Wagon Kiddo for this fun card that I used in as a class sample earlier this summer.  It is a great stamp to for students learning to color a scene.

These little kids are so cute and are doing those things kiddos all over the world love to do. They’re perfect for children’s birthday cards, party invites, scrapbook pages, and even a whole class full of Valentines! Our kiddos do it all. Let’s see what you can do with them! Stamp your favorite Stampendous Kiddos on any type of project and link it to the linky tool below for your chance to win a Kiddo of your own! (yes...you can use other cute kid stamps you already own, but Stampendous Kiddos on your project make it count twice!)(and yes, winners still need a U.S. Mailing address)

Stampendous and Beacon Adhesives Blog Hop!!!

Those of you that know the fabulous, gooey, sticky goodness in Beacon Adhesives can understand my love for their them!!  Oh my goodness, they have an adhesive for EVERYTHING and you all know that Beacon Adhesives are the "Official Liquid Glue of Craft Wars starring Tori Spelling", with good reason!!

All this week, Stampendous has been posting fabulous projects from the Stampendous Team!!  You can see all this week's projects on the Stampendous Impressions Blog!

Soon Christmas cards will be showing up in the mail box and I wanted to create a place to display them, so I decided to create a Christmas Card Display....

I started my project with a cool wooden ring from Indus/DIY Bangles.   I applied a tan and white mixture of acrylic paint.

I stamped a 12 x 12 piece of tissue from Canvas Corp with a Stampendous MUST HAVE, the Poinsettia Background stamp.

Once my frame was dry, I applied Fast Finish Decoupage Medium to the frame.  One of my favorite things about Fast Finish by Beacon is that it is as thin as water and clear.

Once I had applied a thin coat of Fast Finish over the circle, I layed the stamped tissue paper over the top and let it dry. Once that was dry, I applied another thin layer of Fast Finish over the top of the tissue as well.

In the mean time, I was also given a few cute little wood beads from Indus/DIY Bangles.  I also wanted to keep the theme of the Stampendous November Challenge, Essential Elements, I grabbed some Beacon 527 Multi Purpose Glue and Champagne Glass Glitter.

I coated two beads with Beacon 527 and then rolled them around in Glass Glitter.
Set aside dry.

I still had some time while things were drying so I cut a circle of this small square fencing that I had laying around my craft room and applied it to the back of the wooden circle.
The stamps I used for my project  are the Jumbo Cling Poinsettia Stamp, which can be found at
7 Kids College Fund, as well as the Jumbo Cling Cardinals.  I colored them with Alcohol Ink Markers and in the photo you can see the comparison in the two Poinsettia's, the flower on the right has Fast Finish on the pedals and the flower in the left nothing.

Here is a closer look at the stamped tissue around the ring.

The Champagne Glass Glitter Encrusted Bead, which I hung some decorative bells from.

More Champagne Glass Glitter in the center of the Poinsetta's.

The entire project.

The whole team is playing along today, so be sure to visit all of the blogs and leave some insightful, kind comments (the kind that let us know you looked at the project) and we'll give some great prizes, sending some of you with U.S. mailing addresses some Fast Finish Decoupage Medium and some Stampendous Stamps. Here we go...

Stampendous October 2012 New Release Week!!!!

Good morning!!!

I can't take all the credit for the design of this card, but I can take credit for the coloring and the beautiful Stampendous image!

I was completely inspired by a pinner on Pinterest that used this card design and die cuts.  I simply added the new image from the Rose Thoughts Perfectly Clear Set by Stampendous.  You can start pre-orders fro this fabulous set on:

In trying to achieve the look of a white rose, I simply colored my rose with E81 and a bit of W0 and the Blender Pen.

We have more Design Team members with terrific samples to show you today, we hope you'll visit their blogs and leave comments...who knows..the circus might come to your town!!!

Stampendous - Core'dinations Saturday BLOG HOP!!!

Welcome to the Stampendous and Core'dinations Collaberations Week.  All week long the Core'dinations Team has been using Stampendous product and the Stampendous team has been using the amazing Core'dinations product!!
To recap the week, check out each day's post...

Fall is a very exciting time around our home!!!  My husband and the kids are CRAZY for Big Game Hunting.   We have a trip that we take to Eastern Montana once a year with the girls, my Father, my Husband and I.  It is a great time being all together and hanging out in the mountains.

I started my page by stamping the awesome border that comes with the Jumbo Cling Amaryllis Set (CRS5036) with Garnet PearLustre Embossing Powder (psst...a must have for Christmas).
Jumbo Cling Amaryllis Stamp Set

Garnet PearLustre Embossing Powder

I also did a little Fran*taging to my background paper using Stampendous Aged Ochre Embossing Enamel, Aged Hunter Embossing Enamel, Aged Spice Embossing Enamel and Aged Scarlet Embossing Enamel.

I was provided with some beautiful Fall colors of cardstock by Core'dinations, I knew the colors would be perfect for leaves.   The colors of Color Core Cardstock are Victorian Velvet, Bundled Sage, Iced Mocha, Nostalgia and Tea Die.  Once I die cut the leaves, I sanded most of the color off.  I love how the veins of the leaves stayed true to color!!!

To finish my page, I die cut the frame for my picture and sanded to give a WONDERFUL distressed Fall look.

Around the edge of the background,  I added some fabulous Fall colors of Stampendous Color Fragments; Burgundy, Green, Caramel, Hunter Green and Ochre!!

The title was stamped from the Stampendous Altered Type Alphabet Perfectly Clear Stamp Set.  The title "Only TWO more years" is how many years Kaylee has to wait before she can take Hunter's Safety courses and then she can hunt with her Big Sister.  If you can tell from the picture, she loves it and she looks pretty cute in all of her gear!

If you hopped here from Tenia's blog, you're in the right place.  To keep hopping along, head off to Wendy Price's blog, you know she will have something amazing for you!!!

Be sure to comment on all the blogs in the hop for your chance to win prizes from Stampendous and Core'dinations!!!

Stampendous & Core'dinations Week!!!

Good morning!!  Welcome to Stampendous & Core'dinations Week!!!  Each member of our team post their amazing creations using Stampendous and Core'dinations this week, leading up to an amazingly inspiring Blog Hop Saturday, October 12th.

My card today was fun, colorful and rather simple to create.

I started by cutting stripes of Core'dinations Black Magic Cut and Emboss Series Cardstock into .70" x 5.5" pieces.  I cut one strip of five different colors.   I loved this package of card stock.  There are 10 pieces of cardstock, 4 of each color!!!  What an awesome value.
They call this cardstock Black Magic because the front of each textured side of cardstock is black and the core of the paper is colored.  I chose to use, red, orange, yellow, green, light blue and a darker blue.

Once my strips were cut, I placed each in a "edge" embossing folder and dry embossed with a Big Shot.

My strips are now embossed and still looking like any other embossed paper, UNTIL I started sanding the embossed side of the cardstock with Core'dinations Sand It Set.  Not only is there a fabulous paper sander , there is a pick up cloth that works amazing for getting the sanding dust off of your project.

I layered the embossed and sanded cardstock on a piece of newsprint tissue paper and added a few swipes of Memento Ink.  I also added different colors of Memento Inks to my new Stampendous Cling Life is Art (CRY025) and stamped on white card stock.

I couldn't get enough of my May Arts ribbons, so I added the new May Arts Black Twill!!  I am in love with every color of this style of ribbon.  I added a little charm from my stash!!!

Supplies:
Cardstock: Black Magic (Core'dinations); white, tissue paper (Bazzill Basics)
Stamps: Cling Life is Art CRY025 (Stampendous)
Ink: Memento Bamboo Leaves, Lady Bug, Danube Blue, Summer Sky, Dandelion, Tangelo Ink (Tsukineko)
Embossing : Pop Culture Edge Embossing Folders (Provo Craft)
Ribbon: Black Twill (May Arts)
Extras: charms (stash)

I hope you will try some of this cool paper from Core'dinations.  For more inspiration from Stampendous and Core'dinations check out these gals....

Stampendous, May Arts Blog Hop Collaberation!!!

Welcome to the HOP FINALE of Stampendous and May Arts Week!

I started my project today with black card stock, Orange Horizontal Striped Ribbon from May Arts and my sewing machine.   Stitching pleats into the ribbon was easy.  As I fed the ribbon through the machine, I folded the ribbon over and over.  This what I was left with.

I applied the amazing fabric glue Fabri-tac from Beacon to fold over my 1.5 inch ribbon to make a "puffier" pleat.

I stamped the new darling Stampendous Cling Scared Cat Kiddo with Tsukineko Memento Tuxedo Black and started coloring away with my Copic Sketch Markers.

Supplies:
Stamps: Cling Scared Cat Kiddo (Stampendous)
Paper: Bazzill Basics Paper
Ink: Copic Sketch Markers, Memento Tuxedo Black (Tsukineko)
Dies: Spellbinders
Ribbon & Twine: May Arts

Ready for some great Fall inspiration....

Stampendous and May Arts Meet AGAIN!!!

Good morning
Welcome to another great day with Stampendous and May Arts!!!

I recently started coloring with Spectrum Noir markers and had a great time coloring Stampendous Cling Caped Angel (CRM277).

The background is stamped with Stampendous Cling Christmas Background (CRR144) and Versamark Watermark Ink, then sprinkled with PEARLustre Jade Embossing Powder and heat embossed.

I added some Shabby Pink Embossing Enamel, Shabby Green Embossing Enamel and Vintage Olive Embossing Tinsel over the top of the embossed Christmas Background and heated from the other side of the cardstock.  It is a little technique we call Fran*tage.  You can see some great video's on the Stampendous You Tube channel.

I also used some AMAZING May Arts Ribbon.

Please check out all of the fabulousness that is working with Stampendous and May Arts today....
