Our Daily Bread Designs...Kraft & Black....I {heart} you!!!

Good evening friends!!!
I couldn't let today go by without sharing this little lovely with you!!
I love any color with Kraft, but when I paired it up with black, I fell head over heals!!! I really could have left the small turquoise rhinestones off and been perfectly happy with this card. I think the colors are so elegant together!!

This card is for Our Daily Bread Shining Light Challenge. The challenge was to pair up Kraft and Black and throw in another color.

I also used two new stamps, and a "new" product that actually has been in my stash for a few years and not been cut into....that awesome Doodlebug flocked card stock.
Oh....one more thing... I know the trend right now is to use seam binding as ribbon. I picked some up on Etsy, and OH MY GOODNESS........love it!! I love how with a bit of a spritz of water, it scrunches right up!!!

Here is a list of supplies that I used:
Card Stock: Crumb Cake (Stampin' Up)
Patterned Paper: Doodlebug Designs
Stamps: Pray (Our Daily Bread Designs)
Frame: Unity Stamp Co.
Extras: black seam binding (christopherpines...etsy), black diamond Stickles (Ranger), Glossy Accents (Ranger), turquoise rhinestones (Ebay); vintage button (garage sale); hemp string (craft supply)

Thank you so much for stopping by today!
If you have some time today, check out the post above this one. It is fun and easy opportunity to win some Dreamweaver Stencils.....

Join me here tomorrow for a new Skipping Stones Design Tuesday Sketch....its a beauty!!

Have a good evening!

Some weekend craftiness!!! CARDS, CARDS, CARDS

Good morning friends...Checking in today with a few cards that I rustled up this morning. I have another quiet weekend here with big game hunting season starting today.

I also love playing along with Stampin' Sister In Christ! They always have a great message every Sunday. I so appreciate the small message they have. Thank you Stampin' Sisters! This week we were asked to make a card about prayer. I am always thinking of prayer, and how I can be a better prayer (er) and all scripture makes me think of God and praying with him.

The scripture I used for this card is:

My soul finds rest in God alone; my salvation comes from Him. He alone is my rock and my salvation; He is my fortress, I will never be shaken. Psalm 62:1-2

I love this scripture and had to use it on my simple card.

You can view the message and the challenge HERE!

Just Rite Stampers Color Inspiration

Happy Autumn day everyone!!! I don't know about where you all are from, but here in Western Montana, things have TURNED to Fall. I'm not complaining though. Just looking out the windows of my humble abode brings me so much color inspiration. It makes me want to rush out and dig through all the cool colors of leaves, bring them in and put Glossy Accents all over them. I haven't done that yet, but I have been thinking about it.

Today I am sharing this weeks challenge from JustRite Stampers. If you read the paragraph above, you can tell that this challenge was easy for me. All we had to do this week is use the colors of Fall. Cool BEANS!! I got this.....

The frame on this cards was CASED from Yvonne. As you look at Yvonne's blog, you will quickly see that my talent fits into Yvonne's toenail. I was flabbergasted while watching her tutorial that I would actually have one of the cool supplies she used in her card, and to my surprise, I had never even used those dies, so I was doubly tickled.
Here are the supplies that I used:
Card Stock: Pumpkin Pie, Whisper White, Cherry Cobbler (FAV), More Mustard (Stampin' Up); Copper Shimmer (Island Paperie)
Stamps: Nature Nested Sentiments & Frames, Victorian Nested Frames (JustRite Stamps)
Ink: Versamark, Cherry Cobbler (Stampin' Up)
Extras: I-Rock Gem Setting Tool (imaginensce); Gold Leaf Penn (Krylon); Corner Punch (Fiskars); Doodle Parts die (Spellbinders), Bright Gold Shimmer (Memory Makers)

Thanks so much for taking a peek today!!! I hope you have an amazing fall day, full of blessings!!!
Check back in tomorrow for ALOT of Dreamweaver Stencil fun.....**HINT**, there is a NEW challenge starting!!!

Playdate Cafe and Our Daily Bread Design...Anything Goes!!!

Good morning!!! I hope your weekend is treating you well!!! Mine has been pretty quite with children busy away from home and Hubs on a short hunting trip. I was able to make a small dent in my Christmas cards yesterday and I whipped up this little beauty, which I actually got up out of bed last night at around 10:30 because I couldn't stop thinking about it. I am really pleased with how it turned out!!

This card was inspired by the wonderful color challenge of the Playdate Cafe....
How about these guys ??? I love this combination and it is soo different. Great choices this week Playdate Cafe!!!

Our Daily Bread Design is challenging us this week with an Anything Goes challenge. The only stipulation is that you are asked to use ODBD as your main image.

Without further ado....Here she is....

The border punch frame was a wee bit tricky, but last night I was up for the challenge. You know how you can only punch paper with those things is 1 3/4 increments? Well, after I punched out the 3 1/4 x 5 inch square for the Kraft border, I cut it apart and put it together myself, for an accurate layer. Here is a different angle.
Here are is a list of supplies that I used on my card:
Card Stock: Aqua Mist (PTI); Very Vanilla, Kraft, Marina Mist (Stampin' Up)
Stamps: Scripture Series 4 (Our Daily Bread Design); Daisy Patch Designs (Heartfelt Creations)
Ink: Tuxedo Memento Black; Chocolate Chip Craft (Stampin' Up); Copic Markers (B00, B45, YG25)
Extras: Stardust Stickles (Ranger), Pearls (Recollections); Mint Green Liquid Pearls (Ranger); Detail White EP (craft supply)

You still have plenty of time to play in both of these challenges!!

Thank you for stopping by today! I hope you have a wonderful day!!!
