One more for me today. Boy did I have good days off. I made a few great cards and I got a layout done. You can see that layout by scrolling down and clicking on the "Scrapbook Album" click the back button and it should be the first one you see.
This card I have been waiting to try the Color Wash Faux Bleaching. Is was so fun. I heat embossed the image with VersaMark and clear embossing powder, then sprayed Adirondack Color Wash ink. Place the wet paper with ink and image between printer paper and iron until the embossed image shows through the paper. I found that the image wanted to stick to the paper, so I used my heating tool to "soften" the image loose. I then uses a Cuttlebug embossing folder (Stylized Flower) for the SU Elegant Eggplant cardstock. The stamp set is SU's Upsy Daisy, and the ribbon is SU's Old Olive 5/8 Grograin. Fun technique!!!

My first card creation of the day! I lifted this out of the February issue of Cards magazine. There was a frame in a Doodlebug ad that inspired this card. My Mother-in-Law asked me to make a 50th anniversary card for her cousin. It may be a little to Valentine's Day, but also fits 50 years of marriage.

Hi everyone! I am IN LOVE with Raspberry Tart Designer Series paper from Stampin' Up! Oh my goodness...how cute did this turn out. Obviously used the Raspberry Tart, ruby Red Stampin' Up paper SU Rose Red ribbon, Cricut Home Accents cartridge, and Prima flowers.

Here is another. WOW, this 5.25 x 5.25 inch size is making my imagination go crazy! I havent' made two cards before noon in months. All products used here are SU, except the corner charm. I found the charm at an "off the beaten path" cozy locally owned craft store. I wouldn't call it a LSS. The stamp sets used are Baroque Motifs, Stitches and Live Like You Mean It. Colors used are Sage Shadow and Chocolate Chip.

I made these Dragonflies with Art Glitter Fantasy Film, Stickles, solvent ink, parchment paper and an iron. It was a very fun new technique. I am making bookmarks with beads at one end, and these little guys at the other. They are beautiful!!
