Stampendous! Ranuculus Field

Today I want to share this little sweetie for a dear friend of mine Debbie!!
This card started out with me wanting to use my Tombow Markers. I am so jealous of my fellow Stampendous Design Team's coloring skills. They are awesome!! If you want to check out their work, check out Stampendous Inspiration!!

I simply outlined all the flowers with Tombow Markers and colored in the leaves. Used a bit of seam binding treatment and TAH-Duhhhhh!! I used the fabulous Ranuculus Field stamp.

Here is my card....

I used this fantastic sentiment....

Thanks for stopping by today. Check out what the other Stampendous Design Teamers are up too...There are links to all their blogs to the right of this post!!

Have a great day!

Dreamweaver Dream Scheme FREE Theme!!

This week I took the "FREE" theme to the extreme. In addition to my Dreamweaver creation this week, I followed two challenges that I haven't followed before.

and finally my Dreamweaver Creation...

Here added a few butterflies...it seemed a bit bare in the right side...

I used a stencil that was new to me. Hot Air Balloon (LL3003) with the Double Glitter Technique.
First I soaped yummy smelling natural coconut soap over the back of the stencil, I did this so the stencil would not stick to the sticky paper I was about to lay it on. Once the stencil was secure to the Double Sided Sticky Paper, I started placing my glitter colors. Once I had all of the opaque colors where I wanted them, I removed the stencil and sprinkled translucent glitter over the rest of the paper. I cut out my Hot Air Balloon, to see more of that pretty new Spellbinder die!

Here are some other supplies that I used on my card...

Card Stock: Pear Pizazz, Marina Blue, Daffodil Delight, Whisper White (Stampin' Up)
Stamps: Uplifting (Skipping Stones Design)
Glitter: Glitter Ritz (Elizabeth Crafts Design)
Ink: Versafine (Tsukineko), Pear Pizazz (Stampin' Up)
Dies: Butterfly Punch (MS Crafts), Parisian Motifs (Spellbinders)
Jewels: Creative Impressions

AND one more thing....I have a winner from my Happy Easter stencil give away from last week...

Congrats Sue!!!

Dream Scheme Sketch Time & a GIVEAWAY!!!

Good morning everyone!!

Today I am sharing a card made with a sketch in mind from Louise Healy.
This card was made with the Faux Cross Stitching Technique. This is the first time I have tried the technique, and I can definitely see room for improvement, but none the less, I like the result!

First I taped my stencil, Daisies (LL548) to the card stock and I ran it through my brand new Tim Holtz Vagabond (☺Thank you so much MOM). The stencil was then dry embossed. Using Brilliance Inks, I lightly stenciled ink through the stencil. Once I got the coverage I was looking to achieve, I taped my screen over the stencil. Then, once again, I inked the darker colors of pigment ink through the screen and the stencil. You can see in some areas where the colors got under the screen. This happened for two reasons, I had to much ink on the stencil brush and I didn't have my screen close enough to the paper. I should have been holding it down better with my fingers.

On the two openings of the card, I used Vertical Butterflies (LL518). I pasted embossed the openings and then sprinkled them with Multi-Crystal Ultra Fine Glitter.

Inside the card, I stenciled Butterfly Duo (LJ887) on the inside with Platinum Brilliance Inks...

Here is Louise's instructions and sketch....

Sketch 4, March 24, by Louise
Not only was my card today fueled by this challenging sketch, but I also used the fabulous colors of CR84FN Color Challenge...

Now on to something even more fun....I am having a giveaway this week.....leave a comment on this post and next Wednesday, I will draw a winner from Random.org and that lucky person will win....

Stampendous Candles!!

I wanted to pop in this fine Monday morning and tell you all HI!! and share a candle jar that I made! I used the fabulous Stampendous Jumbo Cling Water Lily.

This was a fun little project, I picked up an inexpensive candle jar and I used a transparent glitter sheet and alcohol inks to ink up the sheet. Once I colored them up, I stamped Stampendous Cling Jumbo Water Lily with Stazon onto the Glitter Sheet. The Glitter Sheets are sticky backed, so I cut out the exact size I needed and adhered it to the jar. Easy, peasy huh?? I used Stampendous Rhinestone Butterfly Class A' Peel stickers to adhere to acetate. I then cut them out and adhered them to the jar.

Thanks for taking a peek into my world!! I hope you have a great day!! Leave me a comment and tell me about a fabulous project that you have made with Stampendous products lately??

Cards with Stampendous! Jumbo Cling Stamps!!!

http://stampendous.com/img/shop_catagegories.jpg

Hello there!!!
Today I have a two simple cards made with some of Stampendous! NEW Jumbo Cling Rubber Stamps!!!

This card was super simple, yet I love how it turned out!!
A few days ago, I was messing around with Memory Mists and sprayed this background. I left it to dry and somewhat forgot about it. Today I found it peaking out from under my Cricut and I thought...hmmm, STAMPENDOUS!!!
I stamped the Dahlia image with Stazon on the prepared background. I then stamped the Dahlia again on black card stock with white pigment ink and embossed with Stampendous! Crystal Sparkly Embossing Powder. I cut out the first Dahlia I stamped and adhered it with dimensionals.
Very simple, yet the design is soo pretty!!!

Here is another super simple card made with the Jumbo Cling Happy Birthday set...

I stamped the flourish image on ivory card stock with Versamark and embossed it with Stampendous Clear Detail Embossing Powder. I mixed some Cranberry and Eggplant Adirondack Color Wash ink in some Mini Misters with water and Perfect Pearls. I spritzed all over the embossed image. When I was done, I blotted off the excess mist with a damp paper towel. I let the paper dry completely and then I stamped Happy Birthday over the entire embossed image. In person, this card is beautifully shimmery!!!

This little flower was made using a five pedal flower punch. I punched three times and cut a few pedals out of each one. I folded them up and adhered them into each other. I glued and sprinkled Multi Crystal Medium Glitter on the pedals of each flower. It was hard to get a good photo of this shimmery flower.

I almost forgot to tell you that I stamped all of these images with the new Jumbo Perfectly Clear Handle
This handle is FABULOUS!!! I love it!!
Hey! Thanks for stopping by and checking out some more Stampendous! goodies!!
I hope to see you again soon!!!
