It's the second Saturday of December, and the Stampendous team is playing along with a color challenge…to use pink, cream, gold, and/or brown in a card or project. The colors can be by way of papers, coloring implements, inks, and/or any of the fabulous Stampendous Essentials. If you've been stuck in a traditional holiday color mode, this is your opportunity to think outside the Christmas crayon box! Please join us in our challenge this month, and link your creation(s) to the InLinkz located on the Stampendous Impressions' blog (or any team member's blog post that has the collection at the bottom). You don't have to use Stampendous images and/or products on your designs…but we sure love it when you do! You have until January 5, 2012 at 11:59 PM EST to enter your creation, for the opportunity to be the one lucky random winner to receive this fabulous Stampendous prize, the Amore Frames Perfectly Clear set…
To start, cut a card base and stamped the 1/2 inch scroll border with Versamark around the edge. Sprinkle Detail Gold Embossing Powder over the stamped image and heat set with a heat tool. Stamp your focal image on cream cardstock with Versamark and sprinkle Stampendous Vintage Mahogany Embossing Powder over the top. Heat with a heat tool.
I tied a seam binding ribbon with a vintage button, pearls in the corners.
Paper: Mauve Ice, Simply Smooth Ivory, Kraft (Bazzill Basics)
Stamps: Perfectly Clear Damask Chair, Elegant Borders (Stampendous)
Extras: Detail Gold Embossing Powder, Vintage Mahogany Embossing Powder (Stampendous); seam binding, button (craft supply); pearls (Creative Impressions)
The rest of the team has been working hard on their pink, cream, brown and gold creations. They would love for your to check out their blogs and a lot of the team is offering Stampendous Blog Candy. You want to throw your name in the hat for that.
We can’t wait to see what you create with our challenge. Please link up your blog post to Stampendous Impresssion!!
Have a great day!!!
