Cram Packed Challenge Card....

Well I have been somewhat busy this week, but not making cards. Darn it. On Monday morning, I made a list of all the challenges that I wanted to do during the week. Here it is Thursday, and I find myself stuffing challenges together, oh man!!
I have had a few distractions though....I blew my whole birthday cash stash this weekend on crafty finds online. I have kind of been going to the mail box everyday with high hopes that I would have some "happy mail" and I did receive some VERY happy mail from Lynell Harlow at Dreamweaver Stencils. She is the owner, designer and wonderful mentor behind Dreamweavers. It was a very generous package of new Christmas stencils, Mica powders and some ADORABLE hat pins. My Dream Team assignment has come in and I did draw a few sketches and did paste up a few of those stencils, but they are all a work in progress. In the next week or so, you will be seeing some of my newest Dreamweaver creations. Lynell is generous enough to give the members of her team a wholesale discount on her products so needless to say, I had a giant list from Dreamweavers. I have had a wish list going now it is somewhat depleted. I spent some HERE at Verve, I spent some HERE at Papertrey Ink, I also threw some money HERE at Our Daily Bread Design. I also found some random deals on eBay, and Etsy. If you have time, check out this gals store on Etsy. She has super deals on beautiful lace and ribbon embellies.

Here is the first card that I made for this week's challenges. I was able to stuff three challenges into one. First off, Our Daily Bread "Three" Challenge. We were asked to use three of something. My three was that I punched a border three times in three different colors of paper.
The next challenge was the colors for this week's Color Throwdown #105. Love the colors chosen this week. Elegant Eggplant, Always Artichoke and Soft Suede....ooooolala!!!
Last and definitely not least is a sketch challenge and stamp blog that I found, Skipping Stones Designs. This week's sketch artist is Maren Benedict. I don't know if you have the recent issue of Go To Sketches, but Maren is awesome. Her simple and clean style is just amazing!
I really encourage you to participate at Skipping Stones designs. Her stamps are super cool (there are a few on my wish list).

Anywhooo....I haven't' blogged in a while so I got a bit long winded there.
Here is what I used on my card....
Card Stock: Always Artichoke, Elegant Eggplant, Soft Suede (Stampin' Up); Rustic Cream (Papertrey Ink)
Stamps: Scripture Collection 2 (Our Daily Bread Designs); Fancy Flourishes (Stampers Anonymous for Tim Holtz)
Ink: Soft Suede (Stampin' Up)
Dies: Circles (Spellbinders); Border (EK Success)
Ribbon: Very Vanilla Satin (Stampin' Up)
Rhinestones & Pearls: I Rock stones & Tool (Imaginisce)
(excuse the horrible stitching)

Thank you so much for stopping by today.
FYI....I have lowered the price of the few stamp sets that I have left. They are on Etsy, all under $10. If you purchase a few, I would consider shipping at no cost. You can click on the link HERE or at the right side of the page.

Thanks again for stopping by and listening to my ramblings. Please leave me a comment and let me know what you think of my card.
