My first Sketch @ Card Patterns #66

Please tell me what you think of this card. It is a Father's Day card for a friend with special request. Her Father is an English teacher and he loves reading and books. Soooo, I found I was going to finally be able to use this stamp set from {Ippity}, Books A Flutter.

I was also inspired by a great sketch for Card Patterns. You should check these sketches out on a regular basis! Great stuff over there. They have challenges all the time!!!

Here is what I used:
Cardstock: Very Vanilla (Stampin' Up), Brown & Copper Shimmer Cardstock (Island Paperie)
Stamps: Books A Flutter ({Ippity} by Unity Stamp Co); Happy Father's Day (Hero Arts)
Ink: Versamark
Embossing Powder: Copper (Memory Lane)
Embossing Border Folder: Organic Flourish (Cuttlebug)
Metal Corner: (???)
Thank you for stopping by today!! I am really interested in seeing what you think of this Father's Day card.

Have a super Thursday!!!!

What a great card.....so manly!!

I'll try to help you with your stitch question, but I'm pretty much a self taught sewer and wing my way through most of my projects...LOL!!
