Unity Color Challenge

Hello blogging buddies...Today I have finished my Unity Color Challenge. In the challenge we were asked to make a card using Pale Blue and Pale Yellow. There was also a twist. We had a sketch to follow from the new Go To Sketch magazine. Here it is...

I was able to use my January Kit of the Month on my Color Challenge card. Have you heard of the Unity Kit of the Month Club? You can check out the April Kit and all the details HERE. Oh yes... and before I forget...Bonnie Rose, one of those cool, hip chicks selling {Ippity} stamps, is having a sale on {Ippity Sets}. You should check it out HERE before they are all gone.

Here is what I used on my card:
Cardstock: Barely Banana & Bashful Blue (Stampin' Up); Ink: Bashful Blue & Barely Banana (Stampin' Up); Stamps: Savor the Journey (KOM for January, Unity Stamp Co.)& Paisley Background Stamp (Stampin' Up); Ribbon: Bashful Blue Taffeta Ribbon (Stampin' Up); Embossing Folder: Medallions, Frame & Damask (Sizzix); Dies: Petite Circle, Petite Scallop Circle & Labels Thirteen (Spellbinders) Extras: Yellow Liquid Pearls (Ranger) & Rhinestones (Joanns's)

Thanks so much for stopping by and taking a look!!! I hope to see you again!

Have a good day!

Great card Wendy.

To answer your question about the fabric flowers, very easy to make. I had trouble with the heavy cotton fabric, but the sheer fabric was a lot easier to work with. I can't wait to see yours.
