Good morning!!
Today I want to share a few projects that I have recently created with beautiful ribbons and bows. I filmed a video showing an easy method to create your own big fluffy bow.
This Olive sheer ribbon with a satin stripe in the center is my FAVORITE!!! I recently “had” to purchase an entire spool, Sheer/Satin Stitched Center by May Arts.
Here it is….
Please watch my video on how I tie bows.
Here are a couple of other cards that I created using wonderful ribbons by May Arts.
The first layer of ribbon used is the fabulous Ivory Net by May Arts. I adhered the netting to the background patterned paper with an adhesive runner and cut chevrons at each end.
I wrapped the May Arts Twill Turquoise Striped Ribbon around patterned paper on the front card panel. I tied this ribbon with the same steps using in the video.
I wanted to use ribbon on a card for a boy and this is what I came up with. I simply adhered a piece of ribbon with double sided tape onto the card front. I have always thought of ribbon to be for girls, but not any more!! The ribbon used here was Red/Pink Line Edge sheer ribbon by May Arts.
I hope my video and this post inspired your to get out your ribbons and go BOW CRAZY!!!
