It's Dream Scheme Thursday!!!!

Good morning Friends!! I hope you are ready for your Thursday to get off to a "Dreamy" start!!!

Today Dreamweavers Stencils Dream Team will be posting some eye candy for your viewing pleasure!!!

Be sure to run by Dream It Up, Lynell Harlow's Dreamweaver blog. She will be running a challenge, with a stencil prize for the winner!!!!

Today I pulled out a 4x6 kraft card and went to work! I used the GORGEOUS Holly Flourish (LG731) stencil again and a new to me, older stencil, Long Merry Christmas (LL557). I used the Double Glitter Technique with the Long Merry Christmas stencil and regular embossing paste on the Holly Leaf Flourish. One the Holly Leaf Flourish was dry, I placed my stencil back over the image and misted it with Memory Mist Iridescent. I framed the sentiment with Fancy Tags from Spellbinders and I used dimensional stickers and placed the Long Merry Christmas right on top!!!

Today I have a small treat from the Future.....the Toile Heart (LL3010) stencil!!! This is a brand new stencil the Dreamweaver will be releasing at CHA!!! It is a beauty and a must have for any crafting collection!!!! The background was machine embossed with the Spellbinders Wizard and craft metal. The stencil I used was another new to me, Petal Background (LJ899). First I used copper and rust alcohol inks on the metal sheet. Once dry, I ran the metal with the stencil thought the machine. It is beautiful in person!!! It matched my "rusty" Toile Heart so well!! I pasted embossed the Toile Heart with Translucent Embossing paste and while still wet and the stencil still attached, I covered the image in Rusty glitter! It is such a beautiful color! Once that was dry, I sprayed Shimmering Copper Memory Mist all over the image! I didn't' stop there either! I even sprayed down my white May Arts sparkly ribbon. Its now copper! hehe....

I hope you enjoyed your visit!! Check out what the other Dream Team members are up to today...

Thanks so much for taking a peek today!! I hope you all have a whole day FULL of blessings!!!

That Christmas card looks so "old world" Wendy...great use of products. And the new heart stencil design is fabulous...I never would have thought of putting the copper and silver together, you had such a wonderful mix of mediums with the stencil. L

You were a busy girl! Love the double glitter technique on that sentiment. Now I have to add that stencil to my list!. I haven't tried running the stencils through my machine with metal. Will have to try that as well. Love the copper finish on it!
