Good morning Friends....This morning I have some good news to share with you...I made the Skipping Stones Design, Design Team!!! If your a stamp lover and I know most of my visitors are, please check out their wonderful stamps!!!
I would love to share some other amazing blogs of the other talented gals that made the team as well...
and last but not least, our DT coordinator Kandi Phillips
The card that I am featuring today is from the Skipping Stones Designs new release "Halloweenie", which will be available in October. Also for inspiration, I used the Skipping Stones Design Sketch Tuesday Challenge. This August Sketch was made my Marin Benedict and it will be her last. Stay tuned for next weeks sketch by an amazing talented gal....Oh, I can't tell. You'll have to visit next week to see.
I really had to dig deep to find this Stampin' Up retired DSP. This paper is from the SU Fall/Winter 2008 catalog. It was unopened, and I'm not sure why I even have it.
I am going to make a confession today, I am not a big Halloween fan. I love watching my children enjoy Halloween, for the dressing up and Trick or Treating of the whole process, but I'm not a fan. I especially despise MASKS. Why? I guess I'm a wimp. Anyway....
Here are the supplies that I used for my card:
Card Stock: Pumpkin Pie, Whisper White (Stampin' Up)
Patterned Paper: Ghostly Greetings (Stampin' Up)
Stamps: Halloweenie (Skipping Stones Design)
Die: Fancy Flourishes (Tim Holtz for Sizzix), Pinking Circles, Classic Circles (Spellbinders)
Ink: Basic Black (Stampin' Up), Pumpkin Pie, Basic Black, Lavender Lace, Green Galore Stampin' Write Markers (Stampin' Up)
Ribbon: Old Olive 1" striped Grosgrain Ribbon (Stampin' Up)
Stickles: Orange (Ranger)
Thanks you for taking a visit out of my comfort zone today!!
I hope you have a great day! Visit again soon!!!
