Dreamweaver Stencils March Clean & Simple (CAS) Challenge

Good morning!!!

I had a really good question from a store owner this week.  What do you do with the stencils that have no edge?  Of course this stencil has an edge, but not like other stencils that leave the negative image.  This Cherry Blossom Shape is the image.  I suggested to her dry embossing and double glitter techniques.

I came home and made this sample for her store.

I applied Hawaiian soap to the back of the Cherry Blossom Stencil and placed is on the Double Sided Mounting Paper.  I sprinkled black glitter around where the stencil is mounted.  Once the glitter is in place and the stencil is removed, I added fuchsia glitter to where the stencil was “protecting” the Double Sided Mounting paper.

I added a heat embossed sentiment and some glitter sticker borders.  Clean & Simple.

Create your Clean and Simple creation (Dreamweaver Stencils' products) and link it to the Dream It Up! blog from your own blog, online gallery, or just sent us an email (lynell@dreamweaverstencils.com) of your creation for us to show off on the blog. At the end of March, we will select two winners to win a set of these stencils each:

LJ899-Large. Thinking of You

LG742-Pointed Celtic Knot

This is beautiful, Wendy! I have to admit that I was a bit stymied by this stencil at first, too. Then it became one of my favorites.
