After the Dreamweaver Stencils' February challenge of St. Pat's or Green, are you a little tired of green? Then this month provides the opportunity of doing any color you wish...including green. However, you have to keep it clean...and simple! Yep. We are challenging you to create with your Dreamweaver products in a CAS style. This is our way of encouraging you to begin your "Spring Cleaning" a little early, and far more fun than sorting cupboards and washing windows!
I love Crackle Paste! I paste embossed the Handled Vase Stencil (LG707) with Matte Black Embossing Paste. Once the Matte Black paste was dry, I layered Crackle Paste over the top. I set it aside to dry. The dry time for the Crackle Paste over the Matte paste is about two hours in my area. Once the Crackle was dry and beautifully crackled, I replaced, my clean and dry Vase stencil and added a bit of ink to the image. While the Vase stencil was still in place, I layered the Tall Poppy (LL3023) over the top and applied Black Brilliance Ink through the Poppy stencil.
My background was cut out successfully with my Cricut Expression, thanks to my wonderful Stampendous Design Team. They walked me through a “difficult Cricut moment” yesterday!!!
Now you have the opportunity to play along. Create your own Clean and Simple design (preferably with Dreamweaver Stencils' products) and link it to the Dream It Up! blog from your own blog, online gallery, or just sent us an email (firstname.lastname@example.org) of your creation for us to show off on the blog. At the end of March, we will select two winners to win a set of these stencils each:
