Haunty Halloween Blog Hop!!! *WITH PRIZES*

Hey Hoppers!!

It’s almost HERE!!! Halloween!!! Yipppeee!!

If you just came from Wendy Price's blog, your are in the right place. If you just happened upon my blog today and would like to view the hop in it entirety, you can start at Cyndi Bundy's blog.

Today two of my favorite stamp companies, Skipping Stones Designs and Stampendous are sponsoring our fun little hop with free stamps and free stamp sets. You can see the list of sponsors and the prizes you can win at the bottom of this post!!

I started of my “Halloweenie” celebration by using this week’s Sketch Challenge at Skipping Stones Designs. Our sketch was drawn by the wildly talented Cristina Kowalczyk.

Here is my card…

and our sketch…

Please take the time to play along and link your creation to the Skipping Stones Designs blog. A random participant will receive a FREE SSD stamp set.

To throw your name in the hat to win Halloweenie or a whole slew of other fun prizes, please leave a comment here and all along at the hoppers blogs.

You don’t see a lot of Halloween projects on my blog, but this little Stampendous Cling Pumpkin Pair, got the best of me, and I had to use him multiple times. I even formualted a Copic Class with it.

This is a 3x3 stretched canvas background with patterned paper. The focal image is a stampbord like material.

I easily stamped the Pumpkin Pair with Stazon onto the Stampbord. I then started painting the image with Tim Holtz Distress Stains. I LOVE the end result!!!

I added a Maya Road zipper around the edge for interest and colored the teeth of the zipper with YR04 Copic Sketch Marker.

This card was a blast to make!!

The whole top of the card is sooo shiny!! I wish you could see it in person!!

Stampendous-Haunty-Hop

I stamped the sentiment from Stampendous Stretchy Spooks (SSC1056) set and heat embossed with White Embossing Powder. Stampendous’ Boss Gloss has a fabulous dauber tip. I was able to apply embossing ink by simply turning the bottle upside down and rubbing it all over the paper. Once I achieved the coverage I was looking for, I sprinkled Marcasite Embossing Powder (EP214) over the entire front of the card.

I stamped my focal image on a piece of die cut paper. I “colored” in my image using a Pointalism technique. To finish off the card, around the edge of the focal image I place different sizes of Black Holograph Dot Sparklers by Stampendous.

Now hop over to Berenice Reardon's blog for some "knock your socks off " eye candy!!

To eligible to win prizes, you must leave comments on each hoppers blog post!!!

Enjoy the hop!!!
