Dreamweaver Stencil Color Challenge with the Dream Team!!

Good morning!!

Today the Dreamweaver Stencils Dream Team is creating with my FAVORITE color combination!!!  Pink & Black!!  Love it…anyway you try it!!

Here is my card….

Dreamweaver101311

I had a great time with my Fleur Di Lis (LS66) and Thank You (LG691) stencils.

I started by paste embossing the Dreamweaver Stencils Fleur Di Lis Stencil with Glossy Black Embossing Paste on the left panel of the card.  I then paste embossed the Fleur Di Lis stencil with Dreamweaver Stencils Glossy White Embossing Paste and sprinkled Dreamweaver Stencils Pixie Blush Metallic F/X on the paste while it was still wet.  I set all my embossed images to dry.

When the white paste was dry, I then paste embossed “thank you” with Glossy White embossing paste.

Once I assembled the layers, I trimmed the edges with Black Diamond and Pink Stickles.  The Fleur Di Lis stencil was edged with Silver Liquid Pearls.

Supplies:

Cardstock: Pink Pirouette (Stampin’ Up); Black (CTMH)

Stencils: Fleur Di Lis, Thank You (Dreamweaver Stencils)

Extras: Embossing Paste (Dreamweaver Stencils); die cut (Spellbinders), Liquid Pearls, Stickles (Ranger)

Please take the time to visit the rest of the Dream Team today and see how they used Pink & Black.

There is a full blog roll on the right of this post.

Have a great day!!!

You have the patience of a saint for adding all the Liquid Pearl dots, but it does make a beautiful card. Great job, as usual, Wendy. Love to see all your posts.

Very cool, unique take on the pink and black challenge! Love that border, the pink and black stickles, and the pink pearl dots inside each Fleur de Lis! Very pretty, girl!

Very pretty Wendy, great combination of stencil and punch! I know I would not have had the patience to add all those dots, but they really make the card!

This is lovely...did you trace the three stencils to the left with pencil? They are so evenly spaced and the liquid pearls DO really make the card.
