Dreamweaver Stencils Dream Scheme Thursday!!! ~Free Theme Week~

Good morning!!

Welcome to Dreamweaver Dream Scheme Thursday!!

This week I messed with Dreamweaver’s New Released Stencils, aluminum, paste and Metallic FX.

I started by embossing the aluminum with two NEW stencils that will be available for shipping in mid-August.  I embossed the aluminum using a paper stump. Once I had the desired look, I used a MercArt USA Decorative Wheel around the edge and then sanded off the embossed area of the aluminum.

The Rooster Stencil (LG727) was paste embossed with Pearlescent Embossing Paste and sprinkled with multiple shades of Metallic FX (Eye of the Tiger, Amber Glow and Goldfinch).  Then set aside to dry and I cut the image out and adhered it to the aluminum with dimensionals.

Please stop by the other members of the Dream Team’s blog today.  You can find all the links to their blog to the right of this post.

Have a great day!

Your metal work is very handsome, Wendy, and the two background stencils really make the rooster stand out. Great job!

I love all the texture in this, Wendy. I would really love to see it in person, because I bet that rooster just screams off of the page with all that FX. Missed you at CHA.

Wendy...I love how you decided to do the finer side sanded down on these new background stencils. Unique too with the paste technique and mica powders. Very clever!

Wendy loved what you did with the two stencils for the background and the rooster, I think I would like to frame this and hang it in my kitchen.
