Hey girls....I know it has been a WHOLE month since my last post. I have a wild ride to share with you all, but I wanted to take this opportunity to share an amazing BLOG CANDY with you all. Please take the time to hop on over!!!

I have not yet had the opportunity to create anything since my vacation. When I got back from vacation the weather here in Western Montana has been amazing and I am soaking up every opportunity to be outside and working on a HUGE landscaping project.

It won't be long before something creative shows up on the blog. I have some birthday cards, Grad cards and a sympathy card to conjure up. Oh ya, and prep for my first REAL Stampin' Up Workshop.

Have a super day!!!!

I am making the most of my ONE day off this week...

HI everyone! I got up really early this morning and right away started on some cards for a few challenges that I wanted to participate in. I visit so many blogs that have such great fun challenges, I wish I could participate in all of them. Unfortunetly, there is this thing called work that I have to do!

This card is for the Simon Says Stamp Blog Challenge . We were asked to use green and yellow.

I was really trying hard to use current Stampin' Up products from our current catalog, BUT...I used the Cuttlebug Swiss Dots embossing folder. After that, I used whatever I could, Rik Rak, unknown brads, Spellbinders. Here is a product list:

Cardstock: Glorious Green, Yoyo Yellow, Green Galore, Whisper White (Stampin' Up); Stamps: Oval All, Gallery, Friendly Words Stampin' Wheel ( Stampin' Up); Embossing Folder: Cuttlebug Swiss Dots; Die Cuts: Spellbinders Nestabilities Classic and Scalloped Rectangles; Ink: Glorious Green, Green Galore Ink & Marker (Stampin' Up); Brads & RicRak (unknown)

The next cards is my take on the Monday Lunchtime Sketch Challenge

I usually don't make cards with cute images like so many of the gals that I admire. I am just not good at coloring with inks. After I got this all put together and I thought that the flowers and the paper looked so good together, I realized that my colored angel doesn't even match the rest of the card.....DRATS!

Again, I was trying to be 100% current Stampin' Up, but not thinking, I used the Martha Stewert lattice border punch. I was so close.

Cardstock: Sahara Sand, So Saffon, Whisper White ( Stampin' Up); Patterned Paper: Parisan Summer (Stampin' Up); Ink: Stazon Black, So Saffon, Watercolor Pencils, Yoyo Yellow Marker, Blush Blossoms (Stampin' Up); Die Cuts: Trio Flower Punc, (Stampin' Up); Lattice Border punch (Martha Stewert); Flowers: Accents & Elements ( Stampin' Up); Mat Pack Paper Piercing stencil; Stamps: If The Halo Fits, Yummy (SAB)

Thanks for taking a look today! Hopefully I will be back later with MORE CARDS!!! YAH!

One more thing....The new Technique Junkies April/May edition is AWESOME. There are really cool techniques in there. For more information on becoming a Technique Junkie, click here!

I thought I would get so much more done....

Hi everyone! I think that I told everyone that I was going to craft my eyes out this weekend. I did get three cards made and eight mini cards made. The mini's only took a bit to make, so they really don't count.

I got an Easter Card, a Graduation and a challenge done!!!! Yah!! This is for the Basic Grey Challenge

Cardstock: Soft Sky (Stampin' Up)
Patterned Paper: Basic Grey Offbeat
Crushed Velvet Paper: The Paper Company
Embossing Folder: With Love (Cuttlebug Embossing Borders)
Stamps: Font of You ( Stampin' Up)
Fiber: unknown
This was a fun card. You all should head over and check out the sketch!
Here is an Easter Card. I saw this lovely design on one the Technique Junkies blogs. I wish I could remember which one. I fell in love with this Sizzix Ornate Cross die. The background is the Watercolor Resist technique from the Dec/Jan 08 Technique Junkie Newsletter.

Cardstock: Whisper White, Pretty In Pink (Stampin' Up)
Stamps: All Holidays, En Francais (Stampin' Up_
Die Cuts: Ornate Cross #2 (Sizzix), Vintage Corners (Cuttlebug)
Misc: MS border punch, Tim Holtz Alcohol Ink, Joann's Rhinestones

Two posts in one week....OMG...

Here are my creations for today. I am very proud of my progress. I think I will take these cards with me when I go to sell my Graduation cards!!

This photo doesn't show the beautiful shimmer that this card has thanks to Gold Memory Mist. It is beautful. This background was made with Alcohol Inks last week and I cast it aside because I didn't like it. It is perfect for this card. To be honest, I can't remember what inks I used on this. I know they are Distress Ink, but I can't remember the colors. The stamps are Stamps Anonymous and the ribbon is SU. Pretty simple actually. This was the first card that I made today and I left it on my table in front of me all day because I thought something was missing on the bottom left corner. Let me know what you think.

I really love this new stamp set from Stampin' Up, Great Friend. It will be in the Occasions Mini catalog that is available to order from on April 1st. All the paper here is Basic Grey Porcelain (see Blog Candy post). The ribbon is also SU Old Olive 1/4 in. grograin. I touched up the Chocolate Chip ink with Cinnamon Stickles.

This beauty happened by accident. I used Tim Holtz new set from Stampers Anonymous, Floral Tattoo. I heat embossed the floral image in the left with silver embossing powder and also the butterflies in the scalloped ovals center. Liquid Pearls all around the scallop. I guess I shoudl clue you in in a major part of this card. The cardstock started out white. I used a brayer and Pink Piroette SU ink and rolled the heck out of it. I used silver pigment ink on the sentiment and ....another card was a success.
All these cards were so fun to make!!! Thank you for taking the time to look!!! Have a super night!

Once a week is starting to become a habit....

Good afternoon!
You all know how much I love creating. I am not purposely, NOT blogging. I really have been crazy busy, and it doesn't seem like it is going to give in any time soon.

This morning, I finally sat down and made some prototype cards for the wonderful gal at the local specialty shop here who sells my cards. She had requested Mother's Day, Father's Day and Graduation cards, back in January. I am just getting around to them. Today I made Graduation...

I still have one more protoype to make for the local university, but I am waiting on a stamp. I should get it tomorrow. The colors used are for all the local high schools.
Stamps: Great Grad, In The Stars, Bursting with Joy, Baraque Motifs (Stampin' Up)
Cardstock: Elegant Eggplant, Whisper White, Brushed Gold, Basic Black, Red Riding Hood, Brilliant Blue (Stampin' Up)
Ink: Brilliant Blue, Red Riding Hood, Encore Ultimate Metallic Ink Pad, Elegant Eggplant (Stampin' Up)
Die Cuts: Spellbinders Classic Ovals, QuicKutz Calendar 2008 and Maddie Ann Alphabet
Punches: Large and small star, 1 3/8 and 1 1/4 Circle punch (Stampin' Up)
Others: Jeweled Gold Embossing powder and Gold Embossing powder
If you choose to leave a comment, PLEASE leave real honest feedback. These will be out for the public to buy. I don't want to make a fool of myself!!! (hehe)
Thank you for taking a look!!!
Tomorrow I am posting a GREAT blog candy!! If you are currently a follower, you are for sure in the running for the winnings!! More deets tomorrow!!!
PS~~~Still looking for Loanne!

I am in the works to have another blog candy. I would like to have more followers to my blog, so if you don't currently follow, you should. It will include new and current followers!!!

Here are my creations for this week...

I made this for my Mom. Luckily for me, she doesn't ever look at my blog. She is always doing such NICE stuff for me. I always say Thank You, but I never send her a card. She will appreciate this!!
