A Few Projects to Share

Good morning!!

Today I have a couple of cards.  The first being a simple CAS card that was achieved with Stampendous Poppy Bottles Perfectly Clear Stamp Set (SSC1092) and Friendship Assortment Perfectly Clear (SSC1116).

Stampendous-Poppies

I simply stamped the images on front of the cardstock and colored in with desired coloring medium.  I then stamped the sentiment.

Supplies:

Cardstock: Kelly Paper Company

Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Versafine Black Onyx (Tsukineko); R29, R24, G12, G14, G17, Y15 (Copic Markers)

I love playing along with the Viva La Verve Challenges on Splitcoast Stampers.    Here is my September Week One card….

VLVSept2011

I was also inspired by CR84FN Color Challenge which gave us this inspiring color pallet…

This was a fun card because I rarely make cards that are 3 x 6.  I was able to incorporate in a new set of stamps by Verve and a Spellbinders Die that I haven’t used before.  What a good day!!

Thanks for stopping by today!  I hope you have  a great Labor Day!!

Supplies:

Cardstock: Bazzill Basics

Patterned Paper: My Mind’s Eye

Stamps: Better With You (Verve)

Ink: Versafine Black Onyx (Tsukineko), Tempting Turquoise Stampin’ Write Marker (Stampin’ Up)

Extras: ribbon (craft supply), liquid pearls (Ranger)

Viva La Verve & a card for my wonderful HUBS!!

For those of you that know my husband and I....can you tell which one is his Anniversary card?? HEHE....all the sentiments would fit the bill....
IT"S THIS ONE!!! Of course!! For all that know my beloved husband....he is a man of the outdoors!!! Lives for hunting season!! I'm so happy that as this post is on my blog, he is getting to do his favorite past time....HUNTING.
I know some gals really despise hunting and all the time that their husbands spend doing it, but for anyone that has a hobby they love, they can understand the excitement that the hunters must have. They only get a few weeks a year to do it. Can you imagine if we could only make cards or scrap 4 to 6 weeks a year. Oh my. I wouldn't be able to make it.
Happy Anniversary Baby!!! I'm glad it's YOUR time of year. YOU DESERVE IT!!!

My first two cards are for the Viva La Verve monthly challenge over at SCS...
Each week, Verve Diva Amber gives us a wonderfully fun sketch

Here are the supplies that I used for the first card:

Card Stock: More Mustard, Very Vanilla (Stampin' Up)

Ribbon: Very Vanilla Grosgrain (Stampin' Up)

Now for card number two...

Card Stock: Very Vanilla, Rich Razzleberry, Tempting Turquoise, Early Espresso (Stampin ' Up)
Stamps: Fabulous You (Verve)
Ink: Craft Tempting Turquoise & Chocolate Chip (Stampin' Up)
Embossing Folder: Vintage Wallpaper (Sizzix for Stampin' Up)

Happy Birthday Jenna!!!!!

Today is my youngest "bonus" daughters birthday she is already going to be 7!! WOW!

For her card, I used all the inspiration from the Viva La Verve September Week One Challenge

Once again, Verve Diva Amber has outdone herself with a great sketch and wonderful photo inspiration!!!

So, I'm sure you heard Verve recently released their August sets. I NEVER in my life felt the need to buy the entire release, until I saw these stamps. Every set is awesome (I know now). For a short amount of time, you can buy the entire release for $125. That is saving $34. In addition to getting the equivalent of two free stamp sets, you get FREE SHIPPING AND a free gift! Check it out HERE!!!
One more confession about the Verve release....this is how awesome and inspiring the stamps are....the two sets that I used here were actually the ones that I liked the least. I thought that I couldn't do anything with it. When I opened my package today....it all came to me. I think these stamps are MAGIC....(just kidding).

Here are the supplies that I used on my card:

Card Stock: Chocolate Chip, Blushing Bride, Tempting Turquoise, Whisper White, Melon Mambo (Stampin' Up)
Stamps: Birthday Bash, Seize the Cupcake (Verve Stamps)
Ink: Basic Black, Melon Mambo, Tempting Turquoise (Stampin' Up)
Patterned Paper: Cupcake (Basic Gray)
Ribbon: Stampin' Up
Extras: Liquid Pearls, Stickles (Ranger)

I think Jenna will love this card!! She is love with card making and will love all the color and shine.
Leave me a comment and let me know what you think. I love reading your comments!!!
Have a super day!!!

I am slowly getting all these great VERVE cards posted...

Good morning blogging world. I have been so behind on posting challenges and everything the last few weeks. I have been spending time trying to soak in as much summer as I can before winter hits. I also was super excited because I got to dig into my new Basic Grey Cappella 6x6 paper pad! What a beautiful paper collection. WOW! Another thing I did on this card is FAUX stitching. Until the other day, I have never wrote ANYTHING on cardstock to enhance the design (besides a sentiment). It felt so liberating and fun. Let me know what you think of it.

Here are the supplies used on this card:
Card Stock: Kraft, Very Vanilla (Stampin' Up), Brown Shimmer (Island Paperie)
Stamps: Thankful Accents (Verve)
Ink: Chocolate Chip (Stampin' Up); Chocolate Chip Stampin' Write Marker (Stampin' Up)
Patterned Paper: Cappella (Basic Grey)
Embossing Folder: Elegant Lines (Sizzix for Stampin' Up)

I hope you like it!! Leave a comment and let me know what you think!!

I hope you all have a super day!!

Viva La Verve Week 3...Right Here...

Goood morning all!! I hope this finds you all well and rested for the day. Today I want to share the card the I entered in the July Viva La Verve week three challenge! In this challenge, an inspiration and a sketch are posted every week. If you play all month long, there is a wonderful VERVE prize at the end of the month. If you have VERVE stamps, then you are going to want to play, because Verve Stamps ROCK!!! You can check out Verve Stamps on any of the links that say VERVE!! FYI VERVE fans, on August 1s
t, Verve will be three years old and to celebrate, there will be a blog hop. Click on the Verve blog hop on the right hand side of the blog and put in your blog address. The only stipulation is that you use VERVE stamps. If you don't have any, there is still time. Verve has the fasting shipping of any stamps company around.
{Geez...if there was a contest for how many times someone could say VERVE, I would totally win!!}
OK....now on to the really fun stuff..
This week we picked out out own inspiration from Themebath.com. I chose the Crayola collection. I mostly chose the Crayola collection because I have these wonderful holographic sticky sheets that my Mom sent me and I
have been wanting to use them. To be honest, holographic sticky sheets really aren't my bag, but I wanted to use them, because my Mom was kind enough to send them, so this is what I came up with.
AND....I also got to use my new Verve Stamp Set, Blue Skies. Which I love. It is one of Verve's new releases. Check it out HERE!!
Here are the supplies that I used on my card:
Card Dimensions: 5.25 x 5.25
Card Stock: Whisper White, Green Galore (Stampin' Up)
Patterned Paper : Holographic Sticky Sheets
Stamps: Blue Skies (Verve)
Ink: Jet Black Stazon

Pretty easy.
Thanks for stopping by today. I hope you have a blessed day and you stop again soon!!
