Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge #29 ~Moxie Fab "Jewel Tones"

I'm back with another challenge that I completed today.
This is the first chance that I have gotten to play along with the Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge in months. I love their innovative sketches. You can always count on something fun there!!!

Here is the card that I made...
It is a super fun design, and I have been seeing those cool 6 x 3 cards all over in blogs and this card certainly fit the bill to give one a try. I have made plenty of 3 x 6 cards but have never thought to turn it around.

Here is the great Moxie Fab color inspiration....
Here are the other supplies that I used:

Card Stock: Very Vanilla, So Saffron, Elegant Eggplant (Stampin' Up); Shimmer Teal (Island Paperie)
Stamps: Holiday Label #14 & Fancy Phrases (Waltzingmouse Stamps)
Ink: Elegant Eggplant Craft Ink (Stampin' Up); Distress Embossing Ink (Ranger)
Dies: Labels 14, Petite Ovals (Spellbinders)
Embossing Folder: Elegant Wallpaper (Stampin' Up)
Extras: Flowers ( Michael's), Ribbon (Stampin' Up)

Thanks so much for taking a peek. Maybe you can find some time to play along with these challenges as well...

Have a good day!!!

I need you suggestions of the best detail black powder. Please help!!!

Color Throwdown 107 & Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge #11

I had to share this card today!!! I was playing with the new Color Throwdown colors....

YUMMY!!!

and the sketch #11 from Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge Blog...

and I came up with THIS....

I think it turned out soo cute and dainty!!! I made this with a good family friend in mind, that was kind enough to save about 300 wood mounted rubber stamps and (not joking) 1000's of sheets of beautiful cardstock from a landfill. I can't believe the product here. All the stamps are wonderful outdoorsy animals and landscapes. The cardstock is an array of patterns and solids, all the perfect weight for a card. Thanks again Carol!!! You will be seeing this beauty this weekend!!!

Another shout out to the gal with the garage sale that I got this lace from....I finally got all the knots out and I have about 500 yards of different lace. Thanks again from the $5 deal!!!!!

One more shout out to me.....I FINALLY SEWED A DESCENT LOOKING CIRCLE!!!!

Here are the supplies that I used on my card:

Card Stock: Pretty In Pink, Pear Pizazz, Rose Red (Stampin' Up)
Ink: Very Vanilla Craft (Stampin' Up)
Stamps: Very Vintage Labels 10 & Fancy Phrases (Waltzingmouse Stamps)
Dies: Classic Scalloped Circles, Circles, Labels 10 (Spellbinders)
Lace: (garage sale)
Liquid Pearls: Lemon Yellow (Ranger)
Detail White Embossing Powder

Thanks for taking a look today. Leave me a comment!! I love reading them.
Have a great day!!
